Weekend Faves and Sales

Hi friends! It's been a fun week of LIVE videos on Facebook, connecting with my Mom Bosses, and creating things for our beach house!  Today I even got to have some girlfriends over to shop my closet as I was cleaning a ton of pieces out from style blogging.  I would probably have never planned it if not for reading Present Over Perfect recently - things were definitely not perfect around here, but it was SO fun to spend that time together!

Anthropologie is having a huge sale this weekend for their 25th Anniversary and this round crocodile print cross bodybag immediately caught my eye. It's been a long time since I've seen that print and loved it, so I think we have a winner and it would look great with a neutral Fall and Winter sweater like this one.  More favorites from the sale are below!

The Best of Burgundy Fashion for Fall and Winter

Hi friends! I hope you've been having a great day! If you follow me on Instagram or Facebook, you know that's where I share more of my fashion finds, and I have to admit, burgundy is having a moment in my opinion.

I've been a fan of the color for years and I think that it is universally flattering on EVERYONE, so it's fun to see how the color is showing up in fashion and home decor alike!

Of all the colors out there, burgundy goes by way more names than any other I've seen.  As I was finding all the burgundy fashion items right now, I found pieces under the name merlot, wine, port, oxblood, acai, dark plum, dark red, deep currant, berry, and more.

It's also a beautiful color that shows up in a variety of patterns and textures, from plaid, crushed velvet, satin, leather, faux leather, suede, and corded, knits, silks, and not to mention the gorgeous jewelry pieces! These plum tassel earrings are probably my FAVE!  I also lean toward simplicity and a good burgundy sweater like this one will always be my go-to. ;-)
